Services

What services does Lost Loon Groundskeeping offer?
Tania offers professional lawn mowing and string trimming for residential, rural, and cottage properties. After every visit she cleans up grass clippings from walkways and driveways so your property is left looking its best.

Do you offer seasonal contracts or one-time visits?
Both! Seasonal contracts run from May 1 to September 30 and are the most popular option. One-time visits are also available at a slightly higher rate... perfect for cottage owners or anyone who needs a hand occasionally.

Scheduling & Visits

When will Tania be at my property?
Tania visits when conditions are right for mowing... dry enough to cut cleanly and timed based on how fast your grass is growing. During fast growing periods in spring she may visit weekly or more. During slower summer months visits are typically every 8 to 12 days. She works weekdays and weekends and visits can happen any time between 8am and 8pm.

Will I know when Tania is coming?
Yes! You will receive a message before and after every visit so you always know when your lawn has been serviced. No surprises.

What happens if it rains?
Tania monitors weather and grass conditions closely and schedules her visits around weather to ensure the best possible cut every time. If conditions require a change in schedule you will be notified.

Equipment

What equipment does Lost Loon Groundskeeping use?
Tania uses a professional Kubota zero-turn mower along with Stihl blowers and Echo trimming equipment. Professional grade equipment means a clean, consistent cut every time.

Payment

How do I pay?
Deposits and one-time payments can be made by e-transfer, cash, or credit card. Monthly payments for seasonal contracts are by credit card.

What does a seasonal contract cost?
Pricing depends on your property size, type, and complexity. Fill out the Get a Quote form on this website and Tania will provide a personalized quote within 24 hours.

Booking & Cancellation

How do I book?

Can I cancel my seasonal contract?
Yes. You can cancel at any time and payments stop going forward. There is no cancellation fee. Tania wants her customers to stay because they love the service, not because they feel locked in.

Property Requirements

Do I need to be home when Tania visits?
No! Tania will service your property whether you are home or away. This is especially popular with cottage owners who want their property maintained while they are away.

Is there anything I need to do before Tania arrives?
Please clear your lawn of any items before each visit... toys, hoses, furniture, and any other obstacles. Lost Loon Groundskeeping is not responsible for damage to items left on the lawn. A quick walkthrough before your scheduled visit is all it takes!

Property Size & Location

What size properties do you service?
Lost Loon Groundskeeping services properties of approximately 8,000 square feet and larger. Not sure if your property qualifies? Contact Tania. If she has other customers in your area she may be able to make it work even if you have a smaller property.

What areas do you service?
Lost Loon Groundskeeping currently services Renfrew, Admaston Township, and Horton Township. Service areas will expand as the business grows.
